Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo: How to set up a FREE email account – Are all emails free?

There are a wealth of options online when deciding which email service to use between Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo.

Each provider offers free email and messaging services for users if they don’t want to pay.

You can create a free email address in a few really simple steps.

Express.co.uk explains how to set up an account and start emailing for free.

How to set up a free account with Gmail

Gmail’s basic email package is free for users to sign up to.

To create a free Gmail account go to the official Gmail website.

You will need to click on ‘create account’ and fill in the form that will appear, entering a password and a few details.

Review Google’s Terms of Service and then click Next. You can then set some recovery questions.

Once that is done, you will have created your free Google email account. You can sign in, start adding contacts and begin emailing for free.

How to set up a free Hotmail account

Much the same as Gmail, Hotmail offers a free emailing service and all you have to do is to set up an account.

To set up a free account, head over to the Hotmail or Outlook official .

Again, you will need to click Create account and fill in your details.

Once that is complete, secure your account with some recovery questions and you are ready to start emailing people for free with your new account.

How to set up a free Yahoo account

Last, but by no means least, Yahoo also offers a free email service.

The reason these accounts are free is that users only have a select amount of emails and memory they can use before they have to start deleting content.

To create your free Yahoo email account, head to the official sign in page and create an account.

Fill out the form and click next.

You can secure your account by connecting your phone as a proof source, with Yahoo sending a verification text to verify your account.
