Vodafone customers can now use their smartphones in more places without it costing extra.
The UK network has just announced that it is adding more destinations to its Roam-further service with the USA, Canada and South Africa now included.
This means Vodafone users can now access their UK data, calls and texts without having to pay extortion roaming fees.
Vodafone says it’s adding a total of 29 additional new destinations which takes the total to 77 countries worldwide.
The deal is open to all customers signing up to its Pay monthly Red Entertainment plans.
vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.
The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

Vodafone is not the only network that offers free roaming across the world with Three Mobile also offering a similar service.
However, Vodafone does now offer this useful plan in more countries than any other UK network.
The news of this update comes as RootMetrics has just announced its best performing network for the first part of 2018.
RootMetrics travelled 20,928 miles, and undertook 593,008 tests (including calls, data and text messages), of all four of the UK networks across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, in the first six months of 2018.
And once again EE has come out on top.
The provider was the highest ranked for reliability, speed, data, text and calls.
EE has now been named as the UK’s number one network for the fifth year in a row.
Three also performed well and had another strong showing in the UK-wide testing, the operator’s rankings in the data and call performance categories declined slightly in the first half of 2018.
Vodafone delivered another good performance in UK-wide testing, with second-place finishes in three categories and an improved rank in the data performance category.
Meanwhile, O2 improved its finish in the call category in this test period. The operator’s rankings in our other categories remained generally similar to those from our last round of testing.
