The Onryō’s List: A Tale of Vengeance
Coinciding with this announcement, the latest trailer for Ghost of Yōtei, titled “The Onryō’s List,” has also been unveiled. The story unfolds sixteen years ago in Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido), where a band of ruthless criminals known as the Yōtei Six decimated Atsu’s life, murdering her kin and leaving her to perish. However, Atsu defied death, honing her skills in combat, assassination, and tracking. Now, she returns, armed with the very katana that once pinned her, seeking to cross off six names from her list: The Snake, The Oni, The Kitsune, The Spider, The Dragon, and Lord Saito.
Her quest for vengeance quickly takes a turn as she uncovers a greater meaning during her journey than simple revenge. As Atsu journeys throughout Ezo, she will encounter allies and forges connections, giving her quest a sense of purpose.

The recent trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into the world of Ghost of Yōtei. Players can observe the scenery of Ezo and a selection of Atsu’s weaponry, companions, as well as a new gameplay feature, allowing Atsu to explore the past.
