Reports suggest German racer Mick Schumacher has ended his relationship with model girlfriend Laila Hasanovic. Speculation arose after Schumacher, a former Haas F1 driver and current **WEC** competitor, was reportedly seen on the celebrity dating platform Raya. Further indicating a potential separation, he has removed numerous photos featuring Hasanovic from his official Instagram profile. The appearance of the 25-year-old’s Raya profile circulating on social media pointed towards a conclusion to his connection with Hasanovic, which became public in August 2023.
Mick Schumacher’s Reported Relationship Status Change
The couple had previously been the subject of conjecture regarding a possible engagement when the model publicly displayed a ring on her Instagram in the preceding year. This news may bring disappointment to the Schumacher family, as Hasanovic was reportedly the sole partner of the young German driver to have visited his father, Michael Schumacher. She was also observed with his wife, Corinna, as recently as March, attending the World Endurance Championship season opener in Qatar to support Mick.
Performance on Track Remains Strong
The apparent shifts in Schumacher Jnr’s personal life have not, however, seemed to impact his recent results on the race track. On Sunday, he achieved a podium finish for the Alpine World Endurance Championship team at the 6 Hours of Imola event. He shared the rostrum with his teammates Jules Gounon and Frederic Makowiecki.
Second Career WEC Podium
Following his achievement of a second podium in the World Endurance Championship, the German competitor commented:
“It was a great race, and I’m really happy with the end result. The most important thing is to bring back good results, and our strategy was key today, with a little help from a few incidents out front.”

Aspirations for an F1 Return
While Schumacher Jnr is currently finding success in endurance racing, the 25-year-old has openly stated that his primary long-term goal is to secure a comeback to the F1 grid. He spent two campaigns competing for Haas – the initial season with the notably underperforming VF-21 chassis – but was ultimately not retained by team principal Guenther Steiner, making way for Nico Hulkenberg.
Since then, the German driver has diligently sought a return to Formula 1 but has not been chosen for available seats at teams including Williams, Sauber, and most recently, Alpine, who instead recruited Jack Doohan.
Expressing his ambition earlier this year, he told Speedweek:
“As I have already said in various interviews, I have the feeling that I also have what it takes for Formula One. We have to see what happens, the year is still long, and the goal is to return in 2026. We still have to see exactly what happens.”
