Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson, newly engaged after The Bachelor, are choosing to savor their engagement period and are not hurrying to get married. Graziadei elaborated on their decision to have a lengthy engagement, stating, “We didn’t want to expedite anything, especially considering the accelerated timeline inherent in The Bachelor process. We anticipate a two to three-year engagement to ensure we thoroughly navigate all facets of our relationship and deepen our understanding of each other before proceeding to the next milestone.”
Wedding Planning in Early Stages
Despite their intention to maintain a slower pace, Graziadei mentioned that he and Anderson, 27, have initiated wedding preparations by meeting with a wedding planner just prior to the interview. “That’s the subsequent significant step we are concentrating on,” he noted. “We are beginning to solidify our timeline for setting a date and determining the location for our wedding.”
Prioritizing Marriage Before Family
The couple also shares a vision for their future beyond the wedding. “We’ve both expressed a desire to enjoy married life for a period before starting a family and having children,” Graziadei added. While acknowledging that “life is dynamic and circumstances can evolve,” he affirmed their aspiration to “have kids and establish a family.”
Navigating Relationship Dynamics Post-‘Bachelor’
Graziadei and Anderson’s relationship blossomed on season 28 of The Bachelor, culminating in a proposal during the 2024 season finale. Graziadei acknowledged that they experience “typical relationship challenges like any couple.” However, he prefers to maintain privacy regarding these matters. “People are perpetually trying to analyze our relationship, so we are selective about what we share,” he commented.
