Television personality Stacey Solomon has shared a heartfelt image online, showing her affection for her dog, Teddy. In a recent social media update, the Loose Women panellist revealed that the coming days are “crucial” for Teddy, who has undergone surgery for a pre-existing health condition. Solomon voiced her worries regarding her beloved pet’s full recovery after the operation, telling her followers the situation is delicate.
Dog Teddy’s Unexpected Illness and Surgery
Updating her extensive Instagram following on Saturday, April 19th, Solomon detailed Teddy’s sudden health issue. She explained: “Our darling Teddy. Teddy took ill unexpectedly on Thursday. We have discovered he has a pre-disposition, unknown to us as he is a rescue dog.”
Solomon continued, highlighting the severity of the situation: “He has been operated on by specialist veterinarians and the next three to four days are vital for his survival; however, even then, complete recuperation may not be possible.”
Family Devastation and Prayers for Recovery
Expressing the family’s distress, Solomon conveyed their deep affection for Teddy. “We are praying and hoping intensely that he pulls through & that we can care for him in the best way we possibly can to give him the best life he can have.”
“We are all truly devastated,” she added. “He is the sweetest, most protective, loving dog. He’s our family. And far too young to be going through this,” Solomon lamented, including a tearful emoji to express her emotion.
