“I feel there’s a tendency to negatively stereotype men in relationships. Law enforcement authorities reportedly uncovered the alleged murder plot while examining Bethel’s mobile phone during an investigation into an unrelated burglary at a bar in Great Guana Cay, Bahamas.
Lindsay Shiver, Bethel, and Newbold were apprehended in July 2023 and entered pleas of not guilty to all charges.

“During her extended stay in the Bahamas, life was harmonious,” Chrisley recounted. “We were settled into routines, not just Robert and myself, but also his children. There was no conflict; it was a tranquil environment.”
Return and Renewed Conflict
Lindsay Shiver was released from Fox Hill prison in Nassau after posting $100,000 bail in August 2023.
Chrisley indicated a shift in her relationship with Robert occurred following Lindsay’s return from the Bahamas earlier this year, alleging Lindsay attempted to “disrupt everything” in her vicinity.
“Upon her return to the United States, not only did she reappear, but turmoil resumed alongside her,” Chrisley asserted. “It seemed as though she aimed to destroy everything in Robert’s life, her own life, everyone’s. There was a complete absence of consideration for anyone else, except herself.”
