Android users can now experience Apple Maps by visiting the aforementioned web address in their mobile browser. Testing on a Google Pixel 9a using Chrome confirmed immediate loading and functionality without requiring a login. Location access permission is needed for utilizing directions.
Browser-Based Experience: Functionality and Limitations
While Android users seeking an Apple Maps app may still encounter some disappointment, the web-based access provides a functional alternative. Currently, Apple Maps is not available as a native application in the Google Play Store.
