Amid Phone and Website Access Woes, Social Security Seemingly Shifts to X for Official Updates

Despite these operational challenges, Social Security payments have not been disrupted to date. Individuals with active “my Social Security” accounts in good standing may find it prudent to refrain from logging in until the current issues are resolved.

  • Visit a Local Office: Visit a local SSA field office. Contrary to rumors of widespread office closures, the SSA has clarified that these rumors are unfounded.
