Doherty, in turn, acknowledged the mutual nature of their support system, emphasizing that Sarah and her family were also a source of strength during that period. “It’s hard being isolated, especially as someone who’s immunocompromised,” Doherty explained, highlighting the particular difficulties she faced. She further added, “[Y]ou were all so incredibly careful about who you were around and all of that in order to actually come here and hang out and go swimming and do wine challenges,” reflecting on the considerate efforts made by Gellar’s family to ensure her safety and well-being while still fostering connection and moments of joy.
