Ahkeema Love Arrested in Home Invasion Case
Ahkeema Love, 31, was taken into custody on Sunday and faces charges of home invasion, aggravated battery, and stalking, according to a probable cause affidavit from the Kenner Police Department. Police reports indicate Love and the alleged victim in Sunday’s home invasion case share a romantic association with the same individual.
Details of the Alleged Incident
According to the affidavit, the series of events reportedly began on March 17 when Love allegedly targeted the woman’s residence with eggs. Following this, Love purportedly sent an Instagram message to the woman stating, “don’t worry its going to be your head next when I drop this baby, count your days,” the affidavit stated.
The affidavit further notes that Love recently gave birth to a child “shared by their romantic partner.”
On Sunday, Love allegedly gained entry to the woman’s home using keys and then “grabbed the victim’s hair and struck the victim with keys clenched in her fist,” the affidavit detailed.

Law enforcement officials reported that the woman suffered lacerations above her eyes, a swollen lump on her face, scratches to her arms and face, and the tearing of four fingernails during the alleged attack.

Love was arrested at an address identified through public records as potentially belonging to Zion Williamson.
An attorney representing Love has declined to issue a statement regarding the charges.
Williamson also declined to comment when approached on Wednesday.
Legal Proceedings and Release
Court records indicate Love attended a bond hearing on Tuesday and subsequently has been released from custody.
As part of her release conditions, a protective order was issued and served to Love, according to court documents.
Williamson, a prominent forward for the Pelicans since being drafted in 2019, is not mentioned by name in the affidavit.
He and Love are parents to a daughter born in 2023.
Relationship Context
In March, Love announced her pregnancy on social media, referring to “another addition to our family.” The identity of the child’s father was not disclosed in that post.
