The cinematic adaptation of the popular video game Minecraft has delivered the strongest opening weekend performance for Vue cinemas since the release of Barbie in 2023, according to the chain’s chief executive.
Record-Breaking Debut for Minecraft Film
Tim Richards, head of the Vue cinema group, described A Minecraft Movie as having experienced a ‘phenomenal, record-breaking launch’.
‘We anticipate this impressive performance to continue throughout the week,’ he added.
