Kelly Clarkson, the celebrated singer and daytime talk show host, recently admitted her lack of awareness regarding Meghan Markle’s Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.” This confession surfaced during a recent episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” where actor Brian Tyree Henry enthusiastically lauded the program.

Henry, while promoting his upcoming thriller “Panic Carefully” alongside co-star Elizabeth Olsen, revealed that their mutual appreciation for “With Love, Meghan” became a point of connection.
“Elizabeth and I share a bond over enjoying unconventional television,” Henry explained. “By unconventional, I mean shows we genuinely appreciate. We are currently captivated by ‘With Love, Meghan’.”
Clarkson, appearing visibly confused, responded with a question, “What is that?”

Henry clarified, “It’s the new show featuring Meghan Markle, also known as the Duchess of Sussex, where she’s venturing into lifestyle content, somewhat like Martha Stewart.” He further elaborated on Markle’s “flower sprinkles,” a product from her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, describing them as edible decorations for food. “Elizabeth and I decided we need to explore this flower sprinkles trend,” Henry added.

“With Love, Meghan”: Renewed for Season 2 Despite Reviews
The inaugural eight-episode season of “With Love, Meghan” features Markle in a kitchen setting alongside celebrity guests, including Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, her former “Suits” co-star.
Despite receiving unfavorable reviews and attracting fewer viewers than “Meghan & Harry” in 2022, “With Love, Meghan” has been renewed for a second season. Netflix, which has a significant $100 million deal with Markle and Prince Harry, also has investments in Markle’s brand, As Ever.

Although Clarkson is unfamiliar with Markle’s program, they surprisingly share an ironic connection.
In February 2024, during an appearance on Clarkson’s talk show, Spencer revealed that Markle is a devoted admirer of the “Stronger” singer.
“Meghan sends her greetings and expresses her admiration,” Spencer conveyed to Clarkson, “She also voted for you on ‘American Idol.’ Just recently, she dined with Michael Bublé, who declared you the greatest singer alive.”
“This was completely unprompted. Meghan was unaware of my scheduled appearance,” Spencer clarified. “We were simply conversing when I mentioned, ‘Oh, I’m seeing Kelly next week,’ and she immediately said, ‘I have a message for her.'”
