“I knew it was only a matter of time before things became public—that’s her world, that’s what she does,” Thompson stated on the April 1 episode of his Energy Line podcast. He explained his awareness that Cavallari, a prominent public figure, frequently discusses personal matters, including relationships, on her widely listened-to podcast. “Her podcast, obviously, as you know, is pretty big, and she talks about her relationships, so I knew it was probably gonna come out eventually,” he added.
Positive Reflections Despite Brief Romance
Although their romantic involvement has concluded, the 40-year-old former hockey player offered complimentary remarks regarding Cavallari. Thompson, father to son Teague, 9, from his marriage to Cristin Stuart, and daughter Wylder, 2, from a prior relationship with Sonni Pacheco, clarified that despite the brief nature of their connection, he held no ill will.
