FromSoftware has revealed Ironeye, a new playable character for Elden Ring Nightreign, the highly anticipated cooperative standalone experience expanding upon the acclaimed action RPG. This ranged combatant is set to join the roster of Nightfarers in the upcoming title.
Meet Ironeye: The Long-Range Nightfarer
Ironeye is the latest Nightfarer to be introduced for Elden Ring Nightreign, identified as the game’s playable warrior class. This character is specifically designed for engaging enemies from a distance, a capability highlighted by their prominent bow. Beyond dealing damage at range, Ironeye also possesses the ability to revive incapacitated allies from afar.

Elden Ring Nightreign: Standalone Multiplayer Experience
First unveiled at the previous Game Awards, Elden Ring Nightreign is established as an independent player-versus-environment (PvE) multiplayer experience. Supporting cooperative gameplay for up to three participants, with the option for solo play, the game challenges players to endure a session-based three-day cycle within a more compact iteration of the Lands Between.
Each day presents escalating challenges, tasking players to confront formidable enemies and, upon nightfall, a powerful boss encounter. Progression is tied to discovering increasingly potent weapons and gear throughout each session.
Release Date and Platforms
Elden Ring Nightreign is scheduled for release on May 30th, priced at $39.99. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
