King Charles III is heading back to work after he was briefly hospitalized last week for side effects he experienced during cancer treatment.

Charles, 76, is set to return to his “usual working week” on Tuesday, April 1, according to an update from Buckingham Palace. The king is expected to continue with his usual mix of private meetings, public engagements and state duties in the coming days, including investitures at Windsor Castle and a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Some appointments later in the week are being rescheduled, however, to allow for more rest before Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla, visit Italy, per People. The duo are set to leave on Monday, April 7, and the trip is scheduled to go on as planned.

The palace confirmed on Thursday, March 27, that Charles was admitted to the hospital amid his ongoing cancer treatment.
