Inzoi Early Access Players Report Family Members Vanishing Due to Remarriage Bug

Krafton’s new life simulation game, Inzoi, currently in early access, is drawing comparisons to The Sims, but not always in a positive light. Players are encountering unexpected issues, including a peculiar bug where family members disappear when a Zoi character remarries multiple times. This situation evokes anecdotes from players familiar with neighborhood disruption in The Sims, where a player-controlled character could wreak havoc on in-game relationships.

The Homewrecker Analogy

Recalling experiences in similar life simulator games, one player described disruptive gameplay scenarios: “My housemates previously played The Sims over our local network, which became problematic when one decided to become a character disrupting relationships. This character would navigate our shared neighborhood, flirt with numerous Sims, initiate conflicts, and move on. Marital unions were short-lived in their presence, and quickly everyone’s relationship histories began to resemble the extensive marital history often associated with public figures.”

Inzoi’s Remarriage Bug: A More Severe Consequence

However, replicating such behavior in Inzoi may lead to more significant issues. According to Krafton’s official list of acknowledged problems for the early access release, “When a single Zoi remarries multiple times, some family members may vanish entirely.” This means family members are not just affected in the game’s narrative but are completely removed from the game world.

Krafton’s Recommended Solution

Krafton has addressed this issue directly, stating, “We recommend avoiding multiple remarriages and, if necessary, only proceeding when children are not involved.”

Other Known Issues in Early Access

As Inzoi is currently in early access, such issues are not entirely unexpected. Other acknowledged problems include:

  • Absence of gay Zois
  • The ability to hit children with vehicles, which was identified as a bug

These ongoing issues are part of the early access experience as Krafton continues to develop and refine Inzoi.
