Chaotic Scene Unfolds After Noise Complaint

According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the events began to unfold after neighbors contacted 911 at approximately 10 p.m. to report a noise disturbance originating from a residence where a party was being held. Local residents reported seeing over 100 individuals at the location. The situation escalated dramatically when reports of gunfire erupted at 12:24 a.m. Gunfire also struck nearby homes and vehicles, as reported by King5.

A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office described the scene on the residential street as ‘chaotic.’ Neighbors also reported witnessing potential drug use and numerous altercations among the underage attendees prior to the shooting.

Victims and Aftermath

Upon arrival, first responders encountered a male victim on the street suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate attempts to provide medical assistance, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Five additional victims transported themselves to local hospitals for treatment. Tragically, one of these individuals succumbed to their injuries and died in hospital. The remaining four victims sustained serious injuries but are expected to recover.

Law enforcement has recovered at least two weapons from the scene. While no additional victims have been discovered at the party location, officials believe it is possible that other attendees may have been injured and could seek medical attention independently at hospitals.
