“I remain celibate,” Braxton stated during a March 28 appearance on The Breakfast Club radio show. “Not even a kiss, no dates.”
She elaborated, “I have friends, engage in casual conversations, but I’m not romantically interested. There is currently no one who has captured my attention in that way.”
Navigating Intimacy and Relationship Goals
While the 48-year-old entertainer acknowledges experiencing occasional desires for intimacy, her focus on establishing meaningful, long-term relationships prevents her from acting on these impulses.
“Naturally, those feelings arise,” she admitted, “but to what end? If a potential partner’s intentions are not aligned with mine, and we lack common ground… My approach to dating is purposeful, seeking genuine connection, which seems increasingly rare in the current dating landscape. It’s quite disheartening.”
