Uswitch Unveils 2025’s Leading Broadband Providers

The UK’s top broadband providers have been revealed in the latest Uswitch Broadband Awards, following a recent report highlighting the lowest-rated ISPs from Which?. The Uswitch Awards, presented at a ceremony in London, recognized leading internet service providers across multiple categories. Plusnet emerged as a significant winner, securing three prestigious accolades, including National Broadband Provider of the Year, Best Broadband Provider for Customer Service, and Best Value for Money Broadband Provider.

Key Award Highlights

Notably, Plusnet surpassed its parent company, BT, which did not receive any awards. YouFibre was recognized as Regional Broadband Provider of the Year, while Vodafone was named Most Popular Broadband Provider.

EE earned the title of Best Telecom Bundle Provider, and Hyperoptic received the Best Telecoms Innovation award for its ‘Managed Wi-Fi’ service.

Virgin Media, despite previously ranking at the bottom of a recent Which? survey, experienced a more positive outcome at the Uswitch awards, being named Most Reliable Broadband Provider.

Uswitch commented on the results, stating, “Uswitch has announced the winners of its annual Telecoms Awards. Plusnet has continued its dominance as National Broadband Provider of the Year, retaining two additional Uswitch awards for 2025.”
