LOS ANGELES — Grammy-nominated Australian singer Sia has initiated divorce proceedings from her second husband, Daniel Bernard, after two years of marriage.
Sia Furler Files for Divorce
The artist, legally known as Sia Furler, submitted the petition for dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday. Court documents indicate Tuesday as the date of separation.
Irreconcilable Differences Cited
In line with standard California divorce procedures, Sia cited irreconcilable differences as the basis for the split. She has requested the court to deny spousal support payments to Bernard.
Custody Arrangements for Child
The singer is also seeking both legal and physical custody of their 11-month-old child, Somersault Wonder Bernard.
