Ryanair is expanding its European network with the introduction of new routes to popular city break destinations, including Budapest and Toulouse. Fares are starting from just £15.

The budget airline will commence seasonal flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Budapest. This service will operate from the end of March until October, providing convenient travel options for the summer season.

He added, “We will base 10 aircraft – a US$1 billion investment – and transport 5.6 million passengers annually across 68 routes, exceeding all other airlines, including four new routes to Castellón, Katowice, Liverpool, and Toulouse.”
McGuinness credited the Hungarian Government’s decision to eliminate aviation tax for enabling this “record Summer 2025 schedule,” which he noted will reduce expenses for “citizens, tourists, and businesses.”
