Outlander's Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe share update but fans distracted by detail

Outlander’s lead stars Sam Heughan and Caitríona Balfe have given fans an exciting update about the show on their Instagram accounts, despite season seven having wrapped up, reports the Scottish Daily Express.

The Outlander Collector account tagged the two actors in a post that included a video from season seven, with the caption: “Dive deeper into the world of #Outlander with the Season 7 Collector’s Edition or Season 7 Blu-ray and DVD on May 27th!”.

The video hinted at bonus scenes and deleted material from the thrilling seventh season.

One scene showed Brianna MacKenzie (Sophie Skelton) looking at a book with a photo of her adoptive father Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) on the inside cover.
