Danny Jones and wife's next move 'revealed' as they put on united front after Maura kiss

McFly star Danny Jones and his wife Georgia were spotted together for the first time after he kissed his I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins at a BRITs afterparty. The couple appeared stony-faced as they took a stroll side-by-side in Richmond, London, while clutching coffee cups.

Danny and Georgia, who married in August 2014, are seemingly putting the kiss behind them after reportedly undergoing crisis talks to save their marriage. The pair, who share a son, Cooper, six, have recently returned from a week-long trip away, while the former Love Island star fled backlash and flew to Los Angeles. According to pals, the duo are strong and united, saying: “Danny and Georgia took time away together to talk about what happened at the BRITs.

“It has been incredibly embarrassing for them both and Danny had a lot of questions to answer,” they told The Sun.

“Their marriage is strong, though, and Danny and Georgia just want to move on with their lives now. They are a united team and just want to focus on the future.

“As far as Danny and Georgia are concerned, they have done all the talking they needed to do and now they just want to try and get back to normal.”

Although the couple maintained a low profile after the scandal broke out, Georgia recently ended her social media silence by sharing a photo of Cooper on Instagram, while Danny has yet to make a public statement.

Elsewhere, it’s said that Maura is severely affected “in a bad way” and “really struggling” after the incident with Danny.

According to her friends, the reality star has faced a torrent of vile online abuse, with one explaining: “Maura is a tough character but the reaction has been utterly relentless, it’s taken its toll. She has found it very difficult to navigate.

“She appreciates she is in the public eye and there is extra interest around her, but the abuse is off the charts, and people need to calm down.”

Her friend added: “She is trying to treat things as business as usual, but it’s hard.”
