Virgin Media really is dishing out free iPads – how to claim your Apple tablet today

It’s not often you get something for free, especially Apple gadgets! But that’s exactly what Virgin Media is dishing out right now with the telecoms giant offering customers the chance to grab a popular iPad without paying a penny for the privilege. This new deal, which is available for a limited time, features the 9th Gen Apple tablet, which comes packed with a 10.2-inch screen, A13 Bionic processor, Touch ID fingerprint scanner and a single rear camera.

You also get access to millions of apps and it’s compatible with the Apple’s keyboard case and Apple Pencil stylus – these accessories are not included in the freebie.

It’s worth noting that this is not one of Apple’s latest devices with it first launching back in 2021. However, it’s a decent tablet that’s perfect for watching movies on the move, sending a few emails and surfing the web.

In fact, Express.co.uk recently said how much we still love using the 9th Gen iPad.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

Despite its age, stores such as John Lewis still stock this device with it priced at £279 – Virgin users will get it without paying a penny.

So, how do you get the deal?

Sadly, unlike some of Virgin’s previous freebies – which have included Xbox consoles and 4K TVs – this iPad offer is only available when signing up for the firm’s top-tier TV and broadband bundle rather than its other cheaper plans.

That means you will have to take out the ultimate Mega Volt Bundle. For those not aware, this plan includes access to the web at over 1Gbps along with over 230 channels, Sky Sports and Sky Cinema. There’s even an unlimited O2 SIM for your smartphone included as well. It’s a packed bundle but it will set you back £88.99 per month and you will have to sign up for an 18-month contract.

A word of warning! This a solid offer from Virgin, but only consider it if you are in need of an iPad and want that Mega Volt bundle, as it’s pretty pricey.

It’s also worth noting that Apple has just launched a trio of new tablets, including upgrades to its entry-level model along with a boost to the iPad Air range.

These devices are all now faster thanks to improved processors.
