
Lewis Hamilton heads into the Hungarian Grand Prix 17 points ahead of rival Sebastian Vettel in the drivers’ standings.
Both drivers have endured some fierce battles already this season with the latest coming in Germany last weekend.
Vettel looked on course to win in his homeland until the closing laps when he crashed out of the race while leading.
Hamilton, who started 14th on the grid, took advantage and stormed to victory, taking a huge step towards a fifth world championship.
After today’s race both drivers will have time to reflect on the first half of the campaign and come back refreshed for the next race.
