The joke, which mocked Schumacher’s accident, left fans of the Formula 1 icon and multiple world champion furious.
Schumacher fans continue to worry about the wall of silence surrounding his current condition following a skiing accident in December 2013, with only occasional updates from his family.
The joke was made by Benni Wolther on his show World Wide Living Room show, which he moderates with Dennis Wolter.
One YouTube user reacted: “I think you’re really funny most of the time, but the Schumi example was really filthy and under the hood.
Another said: “The Schumacher joke was really bad and irrelevant. Shame on you for kidding about this.”

The YouTube channel later issued a statement which said: “In this video, Benni made a tasteless joke about Michael Schumacher. It was and he knows it. He says sorry.”
Michael Schumacher suffered a severe head injury after falling and hitting his head on a rock while skiing at the exclusive Meribel resort in the French Alps on December 29, 2013.
Despite wearing a helmet at the time, he suffered a traumatic brain injury.
The sporting legend was placed into a medically induced coma before undergoing two life-saving operations at Grenoble Hospital.
In April 2014, he was withdrawn from the coma and moved to a hospital in Lausanne, a city on Lake Geneva in Switzerland, before being brought home in September of that year.
But Schumacher’s millions of fans from around the world have been wondering what his current condition is as official updates from his family have been few and far between.
In November, his wife Corinna Betsch told the press: “The decision to protect his privacy from the public has been taken in Michael’s interest.
“We have made it very clear that something serious has happened.”
Schumacher’s wife Corinna, 47, son Mick, 19 and daughter Gina-Marie, 21 have also rarely discussed his condition.
But his manager Sabine Kehm insisted they were grateful for all the support.
She said: “What can be said is that the family really appreciates the empathy of the fans.
“The people really do see and understand (his health situation) is not to be shared in the public eye.”
