Thai cave rescue: England’s Kyle Walker offers to sends Three Lions’ shirts to boys

Walker took to Twitter to express his relief at the successful rescue operation and offer to send out England football shirts to the young boys.

All of the members of the soccer team were wearing football shirts and some of them England ones when they were trapped in the cave.

The footballer tweeted: “Amazing news that all of the Thai kids are out of the cave safely! I’d like to send out shirts to them! Is there anyone who can help with an address?”

His kind-hearted tweet was liked thousands of times and some fans gave the footballer the best address for him to send the shirts to.

Fan Harry Tobin tweeted: “Love this, the whole nation is behind you!”

The rescued soccer team have been offered the chance to attend the World Cup final by Fifa but doctors have warned that they will be too ill to travel as they need to recover from their ordeal.

Fifa said: “Our priority remains the health of everyone involved.

“We will look into finding a new opportunity to invite the boys to a Fifa event to share with them a moment of communion and celebration.”

Manchester United have welcomed the team and their rescuers to Old Trafford.

Walker plays a right back for Manchester City.
