RED SPECKLED CHICKEN LOCATIONS IN SEA OF THIEVES

As you might already know, Sea of Thieves randomises spawn locations for its best stuff, so it’s impossible to say where exactly they’ll be.

However, there are locations on the map that will certainly have a higher chance of find these items, so it will be worth checking them first.

The best way of starting out is by checking in with the Merchant Alliance and getting yourself a mission to complete.

The docks at docks at Outpost islands are a good place to start, with a quest giver usually hanging around.

You’ll need a Chicken Coop to store the critters you catch, so make sure you have one before heading off for an island.

When you’re all setup to do the business, these are the places you’ll want to look for those prized beasts:

Chickens have been known to spawn on:

  • Chicken Isle
  • Barnacle Cay
  • Crook’s Hollow
  • Cannon Cove
  • Marauder’s Arch
  • Shipwreck Bay
  • Thieves’ Haven
  • Salty Sands
  • Wanderer’s Refuge

As the name suggests, Chicken Isle is a great place to find Chickens, while the Red Speckled Chickens sometime spawn there too.

There’s no guarantee that when you get to these locations you’ll find what you’re exactly looking for.

Spawns are random in Sea of Thieves, meaning you could set sail to find just a normal chicken, or perhaps a pig.

Pigs are easier to spot from the boat, while chickens are much smaller and harder to see sometimes.

Sea of Thieves is out now on Xbox One and PC, and can also be played as part of Microsoft’s Game Pass.
