Parasite star Lee Sun-kyun dead after being 'found unconscious in park'

Parasite star Lee Sun-kyun was found dead in a park, says South Korean media.

The 48-year-old was said to have been found unconscious in a car at a park in central Seoul on Wednesday.

The BBC says it is unclear if he took his own life.

Lee has reportedly been under investigation for drug use. The Beeb says he claims to have been tricked into taking them.

Sun-kyun starred as Park Dong-ik in Parasite, the father of the Park family that was infiltrated by members of a poor family.

The fim won four awards a the Oscars in 2020. This included best picture, which saw it become the first non-English language film to win.
