Netflix is coming to your Sky box.
The video on-demand company has announced a new partnership with Sky, which will see Netflix’s catalogue of content, including its original series and movies, included in a brand-new Sky TV subscription pack.
The partnership deal will see millions of Sky Q customers able to access Netflix via their satellite set-top box.
Those who haven’t already got a Netflix subscription can add the new television bundle to their existing monthly Sky TV bill.
Subscribers will see Sky and Netflix content side-by-side for the first time in the redesigned Sky Q menu.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
Original Sky productions, such as Britannia and Billions, will be available alongside Sky Atlantic content, including Big Little Lies, WestWord, and Game Of Thrones, and Netflix originals, The Crown, Stranger Things and Black Mirror, all on the Sky Q platform for the first time.
Netflix already boasts over a thousand hours of Ultra HD content, which will compliment Sky Q’s extensive UHD programming.
Those who already subscribe to Netflix each month can either migrate their account over to the new Sky TV bundle, or sign-in using their existing account details to bring Netflix content to their Sky Q box.
Sky Chief Executive, Jeremy Darroch said: “The exciting new features coming to Sky Q will enable Sky customers to access even more of the best entertainment delivered over the best product platform.
“By placing Sky and Netflix content side-by-side, along with programmes from the likes of HBO, Showtime, Fox and Disney, we are making the entertainment experience even easier and simpler for our customers.
“Our recent announcements mean we will extend our leadership in delivering customers the best viewing and user experience in Europe.”
Netflix integration – as well as the all-new Sky TV bundle with Netflix shows and movies – is set to launch on Sky Q in the UK and Ireland later this year.
Netflix will launch on Sky Q platforms in Germany, Austria and Italy thereafter.
Sky will confirm pricing for the new television bundle ahead of the release date later this year.

Following the update to Sky Q subscribers, Sky’s contract free streaming services will also get Netflix content.
That means those who own NOW TV set-top boxes will be able to stream Netflix shows via a standalone Netflix app.
Unfortunately, Sky+ HD customers will not be able to access Netflix through their satellite box or Sky Go app.
