Stefanos Tsitsipas trying to upstage girlfriend Badosa weeks after 'sex dream' comment

When Badosa was asked to tell the story in question after her first-round win at Wimbledon, things took a turn. “Well, I was injured in Australia. I watched his match, the final. Of course I had jet lag because I was in Spain. I decided to watch that match,” she started, referencing Tsitsipas’ final defeat to Novak Djokovic in Melbourne.

“Surprising, because I never dream about tennis players, but I dreamt about him that night, that we were both winning Australian Open.” The world No 33 then laughed and added: “Then it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I’m not going to explain. I’m just going to leave it there.”

Whatever the true content of Badosa’s dream was, it served as something of a premonition. The pair started chatting when Tsitsipas congratulated her on beating Ons Jabeur at the Italian Open in May and the rest is history.
