Natalie Portman was last seen as Jane Foster in Thor and its sequel, but had exited the franchise by Thor: Ragnarok, which came out in October last year.
So will she come back, or is Jane firmly stuck in the past?
The Oscar winner has insisted that there are officially no plans for her to reappear in the immediate future – but it’s certainly not impossible.

Portman never showed up in either of the past Avengers movies, and the fact that Thor’s narrative seems to have progressed beyond his relationship with Jane renders a comeback unlikely.
But it’s certainly not off the table for definite – and as Portman herself said, Jane could always make a reappearance further down the line.
