Pippa Middleton stuns in £1,600 dress with 'interesting embroidery' at royal wedding

Pippa Middleton, 39, her husband James Matthews, 47, and her mother Carole, 68, all attended the royal wedding in Jordan last week, with royal fans spotting them on the live stream.

The future Lady of Affric looked gorgeous wearing a “Lucille” gown from Temperley London that cost £1,600.

Its description says: “Showcasing intricate stitchwork laid over tulle and georgette panelling, the Lucille Gown is a vision of dreamy evening style.

“Art Nouveau-inspired roses, camellias and blossoms dance across the dress beautifully engineered to follow the lines of the body.

“With its tulle cape sleeves, flowing maxi skirt and cut-out neck, let the Lucille romance you this season.”

The mother of three had styled her brunette hair in a half-up, half-down fashion and looked terrific.

Carole Middleton looked equally fabulous in a cobalt midi blue dress with sheer lace sleeves.

The Princess of Wales’s mother paired this dress with her Anya Hindmarch bespoke “Maud” satin cobalt clutch bag.

The £475 bag has the following description: “Part of our much-loved Maud collection, the Bespoke Clutch makes a beautiful gift for brides or members of the wedding party.

“Not only is its satin-effect fabric luxuriously tactile, it can be personalised with your giftee’s initials up front.

“Boasting slightly bigger dimensions than its predecessors, this purse has plenty of space to stow essentials for the big day and beyond – and even comes with a traditional dance card tucked away in its suede-lined interior.”

Royal fans were surprised to see Kate Middleton’s relatives at the royal wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Princess Rajwa.

Instagram user @pamela.lipscomb.3 wrote: “Lovely dress.” However, @melissakenneylimhp said: “I do like this dress but for a different event.

“I think it shows a little too much skin for this wedding reception. Other women are covered just a tad more.”

Royal fan @tashas_2000 added: “What an interesting embroidery. It is a hard mix of colours I would have never guessed it for Pippa.

“I wish we could have a close-up of her face to see her make-up.” Royal watcher @mog1717 commented: “Wish we had a better photo – this looks lovely.”

Instagram user @fen_nie_ada was slightly more critical and wrote: “No from me!”
