Google has pushed-out an update to its Google Assistant that should appeal to Netflix fans.
The Californian technology company now allows users to use voice match so that Google Assistant to recognise who is trying to connect to Netflix.
That means when you ask Google Assistant to continue playing where you left off – it will recognise who you are, and be able to serve up your recently-viewed video.
This will be especially useful for households with multiple user accounts programmed into the same Netflix subscription.
So, when your dad asks Google Home to continue playing his show on the Chromecast, it won’t load-up your episode of Stranger Things.

Voice match was introduced late last year.
It means Google Assistant can serve-up personalised content, including calendars, shopping lists, payments and reminders, based on your voice.
To set-up Voice Match, each person needs to link one of their Google Accounts and voice to Google Home.
If you have a personal Google Account and a work Google Account, you must choose which account you want to hear personal information for.
