Can a radically democratic approach to moderation save YouTube?

YouTube is facing scrutiny after recent controversies with popular vlogger Logan Paul and other issues with disturbing videos aimed toward or exploiting young children. The site has said it is dedicating 10,000 moderators to policing content in 2018. Is moderation even the answer? And what would it mean to completely re-imagine what moderation looks like?
