Jurgen Klopp will name a changed Liverpool XI for the arrival of Manchester City this weekend – his first line-up since Philippe Coutinho’s departure.
Injury kept Coutinho from a final appearance in the Merseyside derby but Klopp will be forced to shuffle his team around without the Brazilian star or a fresh replacement.
Mohamed Salah has handed the Reds a boost after returning to training this week and is expected to play, while Virgil van Dijk will make his Premier League debut for his new club.
Klopp will be looking for a much better performance than the reverse fixture at the Etihad which saw Liverpool thrashed 5-0.
