Pokemon Go NEWS: Seviper and Zangoose update, Harry Potter AR release date, New launch

fans were treated to a surprise this week, as two Gen 3 Pokemon switched places.

Mirroring their famous rivalry in the Pokemon games and TV show, Gen 3 regional exclusives Seviper and Zangoose have now swapped places.

UK players can now catch Zangoose, while Seviper has migrated to the US, Canada, South America and Africa.

With Niantic yet to make an official announcement, it’s unclear how long the switch will last.

There’s no mention of fellow regional exclusives Plusle and Minun, which are yet to switch.

Pokemon Go is about to get some serious competition from another Niantic game.

Niantic has just dropped a big hint about the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite release date.

According to Niantic CEO John Hanke, the upcoming AR game will be released in the second half of 2018.

Speaking to the Financial Times, Hanke also said that Niantic would be better prepared for the Harry Potter launch.

Pokemon Go was so popular that the servers struggled to keep up with demand.

There were also complaints about some of the real world locations that were used as PokeStops.

Niantic is increasing Pokemon Go’s availability with a launch in China.

Speaking to the Financial Times, Niantic said that it would partner with NetEase to launch in the region.

The expansion will partly be funded by the .

Unfortunately, however, there’s no word on a Chinese release date.
