Kate Middleton’s wedding earrings cost £15,000 and had this secret message

Kate Middleton married Prince William, both 35, in 2011, and the wedding day was an incredibly lavish affair, as could be expected for a prince.

Marrying into the Royal Family is a daunting prospect for any person, but the Middleton family had a sweet way of making sure Kate would remember where she came from on the big day.

The earrings Kate wore on her wedding were personally created for the Duchess, and are inspired by her heritage.

The £15,000 earrings were commissioned by Kate’s parents Carole and Michael from a small London jeweller.

Robinson Pelham in Pimlico made the stunning chandelier earrings to certain specifications.

The diamond earrings set in white gold had leaf and acorns included in the design as a nod to the Middleton coat of arms.

The pieces also had to match with the Cartier Halo tiara that Kate chose to wear on her wedding, lent to her by the Queen.

The whole family was commissioned a piece of jewellery from the jeweller. Pippa Middleton wore a pair of earrings with a floral design.

Carole wore a diamond pendant, while Michael and Middleton has golden stick pins with leaves and acorns on them.

Kate Middleton’s wedding dress also had a secret feature to make Kate’s waist look smaller.

The dress was made of silk, tulle, organza and satin gazar, with a Victorian-style semi-bustle at the back.

The dress was designed with some extra padding around the hips to accentuate the narrow waist of the corset.

Is Meghan Markle follow Kate Middleton’s wedding diet

The Duchess of Cambridge was said to be “obsessed” with the diet before her wedding by Cosmopolitan magazine, although Kate herself never spoke out about her diet plan.

Did Prince William and Kate Middleton have a prenup? A prenuptial agreement is a legal contract signed before a marriage. It usually regards the division of assets if the couple divorce in the future.

It can also include stipulations about how the division of assets might change if there is adultery.
