Xbox One games 2018: Shock return on the cards for TWO popular franchises?

Rumours hitting the internet this week include a shock return for an Xbox One games franchise that has laid dormant for sometime.

A sort-of wishlist has appeared on Reset Era, perhaps hinting at what projects could be in the works for the Xbox One.

A user by the name of Klobrille posted a list of titles and ideas in a way that suggests that there could be some surprise reveals in 2018, which apparently came from some kind of database leak.

What gives them more credence than other rumours posted on the internet is that a Reddit user using the same name gave the lowdown on the E3 2016 announcements before their reveal.

Klobrille posted these ideas on Reset Era: “I would love to revisit Albion. Project name could be Wisdom. An UK Studio should do it.

“I would love to play around with Ms. Dark again. The Coalition should definitely help if it’s a 3rd person game. I mean … Not them alone obviously.

“I would also love to play the Crackdown 3 campaign in 4-player coop. I would love playing Forza with the rising sun on the Horizon.

The idea of a new Fable game on Xbox One would certainly help boost what was seen as a very lacklustre 2017 for exclusives, when compared to the Nintendo Switch and Sony’s PS4.

Fable 3 was the last major release in the franchise back in 2010, with other spin-off projects have launched afterward, or been cancelled.

One of those was Fable Legends, a cooperative action role-playing game developed by Lionhead Studios which was canned by Microsoft before launch.

However, as you can read by how they were posted, there’s a chance that these projects may not launch at all, or could be something coming much later.

Explaining how this information may have come about, the user also posted: “Even if I would like to – I can’t post anything since I completely agree with the verification process here on Era and I obviously can’t verificate anything since this is just a database leak.

“All I have as my “verification“ is my own leak 2 years ago which obviously turned out true since I only stated what I found in a huge freaking table of data.

“Make out of that what you want,” the user added.

“I don’t know what is just a prototype etc. I would definitely love to see those things happening though.

“I have zero indications for release windows (besides maybe file sizes or active Azure sessions). I doubt these things are too far in development yet though.

A new third-person Perfect Dark title would also help to boost the exclusives for Microsoft, even if it were only announced in 2018.

Other projects listed, such as a new Forza Horizon set in Japan, will be less surprising for gamers who have become accustomed to nearly yearly launches for the franchise.
