Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again set photo – FIRST LOOK at Lily James as young Meryl Streep

It has been almost a decade since the film adaptation of ABBA’s famous musical.

Now a sequel is currently in production with original cast members Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgard back once again.

However Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will also serve as a prequel, with James channelling a younger version of Streep’s Donna Sheridan-Carmichael in 1970s flash back scenes

The 28-year-old actress was spotted in Oxfordshire last week dressed in period jumpsuit.

Joining James’ young Donna are Hugh Skinner as Firth’s young Harry, Jeremy Irvine as Brosnan’s young Sam and Josh Dylan is Skarsgard’s young Bill.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will be released on July 27, 2018.
