Donald Trump, who has been embroiled in a war of words with despot leader Kim Jong-un in recent weeks, railed against the hermit nation’s provocative actions.
The US President warned the Kim regime that “all options are on the table”, refusing to rule out a military response to their missile tests.
North Korea regularly fires missiles into the sea between its own territory and Japan but has escalated tensions in recent weeks after threatening to strike the US territory of Guam.

Responding, Mr Trump said: “The world has received North Korea’s latest message loud and clear!
“This regime has signalled its contempt for its negators, for all members of the United Nations and for minimum standards of acceptable international behaviour.
“Threatening and destabilising actions only increase the North Korean regime’s isolation in the region and among all nations of the world. All options are on the table.”
During a phone call with the US President, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe urged the United Nations to hold an emergency meeting to discuss north Korea.
Nikki Haley, the US Ambassador to the UN branded North Korea’s missile launch over Japan as “unacceptable and irresponsible”, adding the organisation will discuss |what else is left to do to” the rogue state.
She said: “First of all, what happened yesterday is absolutely unacceptable and irresponsible.
“The US along with Japan and South Korea have called an emergency Security Council meeting.
“We are going to talk about what else is left to do to North Korea.
“No country should have missiles flying over them like those 130 million people in Japan.
“They have violated every single UN Security Council resolution that we have had, so I think something serious has to happen.
“I think we have a lot to talk about today and so with all our partners, what we hope is that China and Russia continue to work with us like they have in the past, but I think enough is enough.”
