PUBG update: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds makes HUGE reveal ahead of Game Awards

PUBG fans have ben treated to a double dose of good news, as Bluehole counts down to The Game Awards with a big reveal.

In what is sure to be a big few weeks for Battlegrounds fans, Bluehole has unveiled a brand new pickup truck.

The new vehicle (pictured above) will be playable , which is getting its first gameplay demonstration at The Game Awards this week.

And that’s not the only piece of good news, as Bluehole confirms that while PUBG may get new items, they won’t affect gameplay.

A number of these cosmetic items were discovered by dataminers in the test servers.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

It even includes a few Xbox-themed items ahead of the Xbox One release date.

And PUBG fans can now start planning for the Xbox One release date, as the .

As Windows Central points out, the recently released game packaging suggests that 30GB of hard drive space will be required to play.

The PUBG box art says “up to 30GB hard drive space required”, which means you’d better make some space now if you want to play.

Of course, this is subject to change, and there’s bound to be a ton of updates during the course of development.

Interestingly, the game is also said to be in development for mobile platforms in China.

Developed by Tencent, the mobile version is said to contain all of the core game’s features and will play in the same way.

Battlegrounds takes place on a remote island where 100 players compete to be the sole survivor.

Players must gather supplies, armour and weapons in order to defeat other players. And in a unique twist, the battleground actually gets smaller as games go on.
