Melania, 47, and Donald, 71, spent the weekend with family at the presidential country retreat Camp David, but made a quick departure this morning to go to Texas.
The storm was classed as a category 4 hurricane, but has since been downgraded to a tropical storm.
It still continues to bring rain and flooding to the region.
At least nine people have died, and Houston and other parts of Texas have been devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
The First Lady unleashed her inner aviator for the journey by wearing a pair of gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses and a khaki-coloured bomber jacket.

The rest of Melania’s outfit was black and structured – she wore a plain black crew neck top and black cropped trousers.
She completed the look with a pair of sky-high black stiletto heels and wore her hair in waves.
Melania and her husband were dressed for the wet weather in Washington DC, as Donald donned a black waterproof jacket with a hood.

Melania’s outfit today was in stark contrast to the one she was pictured in at the weekend.
Returning home from the family’s Camp David getaway, Melania was photographed walking along the South Lawn of the White House wearing an all-pink outfit.
She opted for a crisp pink and white gingham shirt from J.Crew, rolled up at the sleeves, a pair of pink skinny jeans by J. Brand and pink ballet pumps.
Melania’s style has been particular popular recently with items she has been pictured in selling out instantly.
The J.Crew shirt she wore at the weekend, originally retailed for $60 but has now sold out.
The ensemble was much more affordable than other items Melania has previously taken travelling with her.
On past excursions, the First Lady has been seen travelling with a crocodile Hermes Birkin bag and Celine’s Phantom Luggage bag.
