ISIS orders followers to attack Rome as fears ‘risk’ of lone wolves arriving as migrants

With the Christmas period fast approaching, the barbaric terrorists have urged jihadis to target “young people, women and the elderly” in lone wolf attacks at tourist hotspots in Rome.

In a chilling propaganda video, jihadis “call for arms for lone wolves” to attack Rome and tourist hotspots, including the Vatican.

And in a sickening flyer shows an image of a terrorist, armed with a machine gun and rocket launcher, overlooking St Peter’s Square, the large and busy plaza in front of St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City.

The text alongside the image is an invitation to lone wolves to strike as Christmas approaches.

It reads: ”Young people, women, elderly, you are all in the sight of our arrows and what’s going to come is even worse.”

The revelation comes as Italy’s Interior minister Marco Minniti said there was a “real risk of foreign fighters among migrants arriving”.

He warned ISIS terrorists, defeated militarily, could use migrant routes from North Africa to arrive in Europe and in particular use Italy as a port to fuel their terror threat to the Western world.

Speaking at the the Montecitorio Chamber during the defence and security seminar organised by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Mr Minniti said: “If last year someone had asked me if it was possible for Daesh to use migratory routes to threaten Europe, I would have answered no because it is quite obvious that a fully-functioning organisation does not take risks going into an uncontrolled and unmanageable route, such as that of migrants.

The propaganda footage shows ISIS jihadis stamping on statues of Jesus and ripping up photos of the Pope.
