The Undoing: Hugh Grant admits his original idea for the HBO series 'got junked'

The Undoing came to a cataclysmic conclusion in November after six episodes, and the finale quickly became the talk of social media.

As the miniseries was based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s novel, You Should Have Known, most viewers aren’t expecting Grant and Kidman to return for a second season.

When Deadline pressed the two stars for any word on the show’s return, they both remained silent, neither confirming nor denying a second instalment is in the works.

Similarly, HBO has yet to confirm whether or not the show will be returning, so fans will just have to sit tight to see if the plot thickens.

The Undoing is available to stream on HBO Max in the US.
