The Overwatch PTR was updated today with a new map that many fans will be looking forward to.
While Moira stole the show during Blizzcon 2017, the development team also revealed a new map coming to the game.
Blizzard World is the next big update for the popular shooter, and it’s taken its first steps toward release.
Today saw Blizzard World launched on the Overwatch PTR, the testing servers where the development team will be looking to worm out the worst bugs.
Fans started reporting the new game update today, allowing the first players to explore the map which celebrates some of Blizzard’s biggest franchises.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.
The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
Blizzard World will also be different from the current maps available in the game as it will include hybrid gameplay.

“An amusement park celebrating the universes of Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo, Blizzard World is a brand-new hybrid Assault/Escort map,” the official description explains.
“Charge the gates of Stormwind, sneak through the Nexus Experience, and guide the payload through areas filled with high ground, flanking routes, and environmental hazards.
“Grab some Blizzard-inspired snacks at the concession stand along the way!”
As stated above, this latest build of the game is only available on PC, with no current plans to offer a console PTR on PS4 or Xbox One.
When we asked about the status of this, the Overwatch development team said they were unable to comment on whether something like this could launch in the future.

Some fans were hoping that a fix would be included for the new character and her power orbs, which are apparently causing a few issues in Competitive Play.
