Xbox One X owners have been given a major games boost.
Ahead of The Witcher 3’s Xbox One X Enhanced update, fans have discovered that the game runs smoother on Microsoft’s new console.

The disc version of The Witcher 3 can run at 60 frames-per-second on Xbox One X, but only if no patches are installed.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
The frame rate does drop to 40 fps during certain sections, but it’s still pretty impressive.
Later patches locked the frame rate at 30fps in order to maintain a steady performance.
The Witcher 3 will soon receive an official Xbox One X Enhanced update that will improve its performance.
The news comes as Microsoft makes a surprise recommendation for Xbox One X owners.
Even though the Xbox One X has a 1TB hard drive, fans are running out of storage space quickly when downloading Xbox One X Enhanced 4K updates.
Xbox marketing boss Albert Penello told Game Informer that fans might want to pick up an external hard drive to help with storage.
“The last thing is that I do encourage the external hard drive as something we’ve supported from the get-go,” he continued.
“We’ve found that even when we had internal hard drive swap ability like on Xbox 360, that people don’t really like to crack open their consoles. Having external hard drive support – and those are very affordable these days; there was just this 4 TB on sale for, like, $110 I think – is a great way to get a ton of storage.
“I think we have a lot of options for people.
“Obviously, we’re trying to solve it with the developers, we’re trying to solve it for users, and we’re trying to make it easy for people who do have huge libraries to expand their storage without have to get a new system or crack it open or anything like that.”
Xbox One X is out now, and Microsoft’s console is selling out fast.
