After almost a decade of Marvel movies, the first female standalone will finally be released in the form of Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel in 2019.
However for the last few years some fans have been asking for a Black Widow solo movie starring Scarlett.
Now Thor Ragnarok director Taika has revealed he would like to helm the project, but as a comedy.
According to MovieWeb, he said: “In all honesty, I reckon I could probably bring something pretty unique to any of the franchises.”
She said: “I’ve talked to Kevin Feige about it. We’re creatively really compatible.

“It would have to be the best version that movie could possibly be. Otherwise, I would never do it. And I don’t know if I have the capacity for it, or if Marvel has the capacity for it.”
