Eddie Jones calls on England squad to be ‘PREPARED for North Korean’ missile at World Cup

Mr Jones’ statements come as the world prepares itself for the prospect of World War 3 as despot leader Kim Jong-un threatens further missile tests.

The England coach said: “We want the players to be uncomfortable for the next two years so that when they get to the World Cup they will be prepared for anything.

“Prepared for North Korea to fire a missile, prepared for an earthquake, for bad sushi, for bad refereeing.

“It doesn’t matter what happens, they will be ready for it.

“We need to make the team more uncomfortable, not have everything nice and rosy but have a bit of chaos in the house. Every time we come together now it’s about building towards the World Cup.”

The calls for urgency come as Mr Jones looks to strengthen the England squad that is currently “20 per cent” behind rivals New Zealand in terms of fitness and adaptability.

The coach will aim to iron out any wrinkles in the squad during week-long training exercise in Portugal that will commence on Sunday.

Mr Jones has secured 19 wins in 20 test matches since replacing Stuart Lancaster as the head of the Red Roses in 2015.

A state of readiness against the hermit nation has also been adopted by Donald Trump who recently claimed the US is “totally prepared” to respond to North Korea.

The President warned the rogue nation it is “shocking” how “totally prepared” the US is for conflict with Kim.

He said: “We’ll see what happens. We are so prepared like you wouldn’t believe.

“You would be shocked to see how totally prepared we are if we need to be.

“Would it be nice not to do that? The answer is yes.

“Will that happen? Who knows, who knows.”
